Description
A square case with beveled corners, the gadroon that protects the crown: no doubt, this is indeed a Ceinture! Square and flat, this model is as elegant as it is pleasant on the wrist. Even if it is thin, the gadroon of its case (the wave of gold along the case) gives the Ceinture a real presence on the wrist. However, this is a much rarer version of the Cartier Ceinture. It has a case combining yellow and white gold.
This Ceinture is presented in its most traditional version, the most respectful of Cartier's history, with a hand-wound mechanical movement and a dial signed "Paris".
Comfort is enhanced by the presence of the 18-carat yellow gold folding clasp, the qualities of which no longer even need to be praised! It requires a custom-made strap.
How to wear it?
This Ceinture is perfect for all occasions. A dress watch that is a pleasure to wear and look at. It is particularly suitable for everyday life, perfect for work or for an evening out. Thanks to its flat lines, it sits delicately on the wrist and hugs its surface. A very flattering watch that is a change from the classic Tank Louis Cartier.
However, you must not forget to wind it! Some might find this boring on a daily basis, Françoise particularly likes this short, almost physical moment with her watch each morning.
Finally, with its yellow and white gold case, this version can be paired with the jewelry of your choice, whether gold, silver or both!
Why did Françoise choose it?
Because it is an emblematic Cartier model of great elegance and whose dial is particularly well proportioned. Françoise considers the Ceinture to be one of the most pleasant Cartier to wear, thanks to its thin and square case.
Françoise couldn't miss this rare model with two gold tones. A rare piece that you won't be seeing on your friends' wrists anytime soon.
Françoise often suggests quartz watches, and highlights their ease of use on a daily basis, but her passion for watchmaking sometimes takes over and makes her wear a "real" manual watch for a few weeks, to be wound every day.
History
The Ceinture, which appeared in 1937 at Cartier, offers original and refined lines enclosing the iconic dial of the House. It echoes the jewelry expertise of Cartier. A rare model that will dress your wrist in all circumstances.
