If you need only one "Belt"

Description

A square case with cut-off angles, the godron (French jewellery name for the kind of gold step on the case) that embraces and protects the crown: no doubt, it is indeed a Ceinture (French for belt)! Square and flat, this model is as elegant as it is confortable on the wrist. Even if it is thin, the godron gives the Ceinture a real presence on the wrist.

This Ceinture is presented in its most traditional and respectful version of Cartier's history, with a mechanical movement. Note that the winding crown is not original.

Comfort is accentuated by the presence of the yellow gold folding clasp, the qualities of which there is no longer even a need to praise!

How to wear it?

The Ceinture is perfect in all circumstances. A dress watch that is fun to wear and look at. It is particularly suitable for everyday life, perfect for work and in the evening. Thanks to these flat lines, it sits delicately on the wrist. A very bold change from the classic Tank Louis Cartier.

However, don't forget to wind it! Some might find it boring on a daily basis, Françoise particularly likes this short and physical moment with her watch every morning.

A slightly smaller size than the classic.

Why did Françoise choose it?

Of course it's one of the most emblematic Cartier designs! But it's more than that. It's also in Françoise's opinion, one of the most confortable Cartier watch thanks to its flat and square case.

Françoise often offers quartz watches, and highlights their everyday practicality, but her passion for watchmaking sometimes takes over. For these days, she wears a "real" mechanical watch, and loved the 30 secondes she winds the watch every morning.

History

The Ceinture, which appeared in 1937 at Cartier, offers original and refined lines with the iconic dial of the Maison. It also echoes the first mission of Cartier: jewelers designing and making complex gold forms. A rare model that will dress your wrist in all circumstances.
