The Qintessence of Piaget, or luxury. Maybe it is the same ?

Description

What finesse! Not just in the watch itself, but also in the integrated bracelet  maille milanaise ! Crafted entirely in white gold (just like the watch), this bracelet is so supple it confirms Piaget's unique status, straddling the worlds of jewelry and watchmaking!

The overall harmony of this watch is perfect: the bracelet's delicacy evokes the subtlety of the flame-blued hands, which marry wonderfully with the simplicity of black-painted indexes on a white background.

How to wear it?

In contrast to many often extravagant Piaget pieces, featuring gemstones and more, this watch perfectly demonstrates Piaget's ability to create something simple, beautiful, and discreet. It's undoubtedly a watch for everyday wear, thanks to the discretion of white gold. The case and bracelet are slim, so they're not too heavy or uncomfortable. The flexibility of the bracelet even makes this watch exceptionally comfortable.

Why did Françoise choose it ?

It's no longer a secret: Françoise greatly appreciates the creations of the Piaget House. Technical expertise, craftsmanship, design, history—these are all elements Françoise wishes to celebrate. To finally give Piaget the horological recognition it deserves. While Françoise loves to wear the extravagant pieces of the 1970s, cuff bracelets, necklaces, etc., Françoise also has an affection for simpler pieces. However, this is still Piaget; the shapes and materials are ambassadors of delicate elegance with a subtle touch of extravagance.

History

Between the late 1950s and the late 1970s, Piaget's style reached its peak. A highly creative period where gold, the only material used for watches from 1957 onwards, harmonized with colors. While Piaget is particularly known for its use of hard stones, it was also a pioneer of the integrated bracelets in the 1970s, with a vision: to make the bracelet an asset, not just a functional part of the watch. Piaget's unmatched mastery of gold allowed them to offer the most flexible, the slimmest, and sometimes the most extraordinary bracelets!
